2018'S GOLDEN GLOBES WINNERS!

January 2018 | My First Job in Film

With an audience dressed in a sea of black and some powerful speeches; Hollywood's Golden Globes pay tribute to more than just filmmaking.

At the for-front of this years Golden Globes were filmmakers paying tribute to the women who have found the courage to come forward with their stories of sexual abuse within the entertainment industry. The abuse of power is wide spread and Oprah Winfrey's speech, as she accepted the Cecil B. DeMille award, powerfully articulated the realities of women all over the world who face horrors that many of us cannot put into words.

The praise for the work was there, but each speech highlighted admiration beyond the work.
