Jerome Bell

About Jerome

I am a filmmaker and film critic. I write and direct my own work. I own my own vintage Eclair NPR 16mm camera and a Canon DSLR with Nikon Lens and have taught myself a great deal about production work independently using software packages such as Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere and Dragon Frame. I'm looking for an entry-level role in the industry, ideally as a Production Assistant. I'm currently working on my first stop motion animated short inspired by the films of Tim Burton and Wes Anderson. I've recently been accepted for a place with The National Youth Film Academy for their Set Ready Course in 2019 and wish to gain professional experience in the industry before then. I am a highly creative individual, a fast and enthusiastic learner and a committed professional eager to develop technical skills in filmmaking. I have broad interests in Cinematography, Editing, Writing, Directing, Composing (I play the piano, electric and acoustic guitar), production and post-production and ultimately am looking to establish myself, long-term, as a Writer-Director.
