Hello everyone, It is now almost a year that I have been working at Tico Film, an Italian film production company with an office in London. As Development and Producer Assistant, my duties are spread on all Tico’s projects and I assist the producer on all the phases of acquisition, development, production and distribution. As such, I keep the conversation with writers and directors, read and prepare script coverage, prepare press kits, research film festivals, submit applications for national and international grants and finally I take care of our social media channels. As such, I cover both administrative and creative duties. Until the end of February 2017, I was working as Sales & Marketing Trainee at Film Constellation, international sales agency. This experience allowed me to gain a strong knowledge about the film sales process and of the film value chain and my duties were varied: I was working as office manager and administrator, as executive assistant to the CEO and as festivals coordinator. As such, I learnt how to prioritise my heavy workload and to meet deadlines, being proactive. Specifically, as festivals' coordinator, I successfully negotiated a fee for our movies that have been selected in more than 50 festivals around the world, submitting our films to festivals and organising multiple DCPs traffic for 5 movies at the same time. In addition, I managed my manager's diary; I was the first point of contact for the company, answering calls and emails, enhancing my communication skills and developing a positive and strong relationship with co-workers and external collaborators such as producers, directors, creative agencies, distributors, festivals programmers; thanks to my administrative support, I have strengthened my computer literate skills, using in particular all the Microsoft Office package; being the executive assistant to the CEO, I had to handle confidential information. These present and past experiences all together equipped me with a wide set of transferable skills: I am extremely organised, I have very strong administration skills, I have experience both in film production and distribution; I have strong knowledge of international film festivals and their submission process; I have good communication and negotiation skills, having had to keep the conversation daily with producers, sales agents, distributors and film festivals; I am eager to learn and I proved to be a fast learner and ambitious; I have a positive attitude towards co-workers and this makes me a good team player. Please take a look at my CV and don't hesitate contacting me for any further information needed. Sara
