Stephen Pitt

   Production credits

About Stephen

Since the age of 9, after watching Tim Burton’s ‘Batman’ (1989), I’ve always had a strong desire to be a part of the film industry. I’ve spent most of my life being at awe of great films and hoping to replicate and create something of my own. This enthusiasm for film has lead me to currently being in the third and final year of my Film & Video course at the University of South Wales, Newport, where I’ve had the experience of writing and directing several short films. Now my studies are drawing to a close, and one aspect that I find daunting is whether or not I’ll be able to attain some form of employment after graduating. But, I have plenty of experience working on both student and professional productions. My experience and interest in film work makes me an ideal candidate for this traineeship, I will work enthusiastically to a professional standard; as I know that opportunities such as this are rare for myself. It would be a great opportunity for me to gain a foothold in the industry and further my career; with the possibility of being a part of creating more great films.
