I was selected for the BFI Scriptwriting Residential in 2016 and worked on a short comedy drama script with them. After that I started to think that perhaps film wasn't this impossible, unreachable world I could never crack but just required lots of hard work. I'm trying to put that into practice now. Ideally I want to work on projects that are interested in telling stories from unique or underrepresented perspectives. I want to work with people who strive for original, innovative, important content. I can offer them good, solid communication skills and a wide understanding of academic knowledge and creative processes. I have been a scriptwriter, done a lot of journalism, I do my own analogue photography and can enjoy good cinematography. Clocked up years of experience as a Runner and I'm now looking to use my storytelling skills for script development or editing and post-production.
