Vijender Chaubey

Vijender Chaubey

About Vijender

Hello :) My name is Vijender Chaubey, or VJ for short if that is easier as many people call me that anyway. I am a recent graduate in Economics, which is a broad study, however I leaned more towards the politics and media side whilst I was enrolled. It gave me knowledge about different topics which kept me interested, just like working on different film projects would be. I have always been inclined towards creative media such as film and TV which is why during my study I joined a student-run Youtube channel where we worked together to conceptualise, shoot, edit and promote videos regarding local student& town life as well as other important/entertaining topics. Having done theatre before and also whilst making Youtube videos, made me realise that Film and/or TV would be a field I want to advance myself in. To further this interest I interned at film festivals such as the Indian Film Festival of The Hague and also New Delhi Television (NDTV). Being able to learn new things drive me, and hence its a quality that makes me a keen and fast learner. To be able to pick up things at any given point and better from there for the next time. Together with theatre I am also very much into debates such as MUN, watching plays and movies, music festivals and backpacking since it allows me to meet a variety of people and hear their stories.
