I’m a passionate costume designer/maker with main experience in costume making on several big budget film, tv and theatre productions. I’m a very organised and hard working person who is looking for an opportunity. I always give it my all and work to the maximum of my capacity. I'm a quick Lerner hence my experience in tailoring, millinery, metal work, costume drawing and embroidery. I’m reliable and very excitable when it comes to new projects. I really enjoy working in close collaboration with other creatives as it gives it this amazing platform to inspire each other, learn and develop your ideas more by consulting and talking things through. I started my journey with costume in Prangsta Costumiers. I worked there as an assistant in the workrooms. I constructed bespoke garments ready to rent . Next step in my career was an internship followed by a job offer at Angels Costumes where I gained most of my professional experience and perfected my craft. On the side of my professional work I also make bespoke garments and accessories. As a creative I take inspiration from 70s punk and glam rock, as well as fashion silhouette of the 20th century. I like giving old shapes new meanings and definitions when designing. As I have a very strong appreciation for old garment construction applied when taking nowadays resources. People that have made a big impact my work are definitely Tim Burton and his collaborations with Colleen Atwood, Leigh Bowery, Gerald Scarfe and his designs for the opera. I like the over the top aesthetics of opera and theatre plays as much as the natural and everyday looks styled for TV shows and commercials . It's all about creating true character and that's what makes it so exciting! In the future I would love to work on big budget Film and TV productions as a costume assistant and gradually taking more and more creative responsibility in a hope of one day becoming the head designer.
