Cinematography: Shooting and Lighting for Film & Digital

London Film Academy | London

Our two-day practical cinematography workshop covers lighting and operating for film and digital video.

Over a weekend at London Film Academy you will learn how to set up professional lighting for film. Guided by practical demonstrations, you will focus on how to make the most of digital film looking at a variety of lighting and camera functions. You discover the technical differences between: shooting on various formats, shooting for documentary and drama, and shooting in a studio, on location and under available light conditions. Cinematography is a scientific art form, and our tutors are on hand to help you become a master of capturing motion picture photography.

The workshop provides technical explanations and hands-on shooting experience.
